From the work seen today and discussion with the two leaders, the school continues to build on the success of the Nov 2016 Ofsted findings. The work I saw today is the best I have seen in the school for consistency, including the approach to writing and the progress of the pupils. This is consistently good.  A key strength is the evaluation of the leaders with the impact of the initiatives constantly reviewed and revised.

Year 6 Parents

• The school has a warm, friendly, welcoming feel to it promoting a real sense of ‘team play’. The children are a delight and were happy to talk about their learning; they were very proud of their school and were able to speak about the things they had been doing in a positive light.
• The children are engaged and focussed on their learning and the teachers are working hard to ensure they are successful.
• The learning environments are conducive to learning – the learning walls show the journeys that the children are on in core subjects and prompts which the children can use independently to further progress their learning are in abundance. The outdoor environment is lovely and has been developed so that it is best utilised to broaden the curriculum;
